Gus the BirdBruce Weaver and Friends

The program, "Reading is Magic", includes several characters, magic, singing, and lots of laughs.
Edgar decides that he'll be a "Dr. Seuss Character" for the day.  The audience helps Chester Hound as he learns about his special abilities and discovers that books are to be read.  The students will learn that following directions is very important,  especially when performing a magic trick.    Gus the Bird shows there's more to animal training than reading a book.  It also takes patience.  And Aunt Gabby shares a letter from her nephew Joey and sings a library rap song.  The 40 minute show is a fast paced blend of ventriloquism, magic, singing, audience participation, and fun with a message,  "Learn to Read and you'll surely Succeed".
