Bruce Weaver & Friends
Ventriloquist
Bruce Weaver and his cast of zany characters present object lessons, illusions,
and dialogues that teach Bible truths, as well as singing, and great family
fun.
Bruce
has been involved with ventriloquism for over thirty years. He and
his "friends" have appeared at Churches, Sunday Schools, and Vacation Bible
Schools throughout much of Pennsylvania and New York. Edgar J. Woodley,
Aunt Gabby, Sheldon, and the rest of the gang always seem to steal the
show with their antics, singing, and wit as they share the Good News with
one and all.

Visited over the Years
Bruce Weaver has been an active member of the Yoked Churches
of Knoxville (United Methodist and First Baptist worshipping together)
for over 25 years. He has served on and been chairperson of the Worship
and Education Teams as well as the Moderator of the Yoked Church Council.
He teaches Sunday School and is a member of the Church Choir.
Bruce and his "friends" have been a part of the Church
Sunday School and Vacation Bible School several times over the years.
He has also led the congregation in worship on numerous occasions with
the help of his "friends".
Bruce recently retired from teaching after 35 years at
the Westfield Area Elementary School where he taught fifth and sixth grade.
He is listed in the 1994, 2000, 2005, and 2006 editions of Who's Who Among
American Teachers. He was the recipient the November 2002 Outstanding
Educator Award from the Elmira Star Gazette. His "friends"
have also appeared at schools for special assemblies.

A typical Sunday School or VBS presentation is 40 to 45
Minutes in length. Four or five of his characters help Bruce with
object lessons, dialogues, magic, and songs that fit the chosen theme.
The time can be adjusted to fit your needs.
